Thanks to babyspike for addressing my concern over certain food to be brought to Gold Coast. Did anyone brought uncooked rice, canned food like sardine, luncheon meat, tuna or even white plain bread before?


The VIP passes online valid before 30 June but we will be travelling there in July, so what should i do? When do u think they will release ticket for july onwards? Do u think it’s cheaper?

Btw, for those who r travelling in July, seaworld resort is having promotion right now, considered cheap, free movie world, sea world n wet n wild ticket too. Jus to share : )

My family going GC early June and I am planning the itinerary now. Will going to Sea World and Movie World on Friday and Saturday be too crowded?

Hi, anyone here tried staying at the Sea world resort.

We are planning to head straight there after we touch down and stay in the resort for two nights.
The rest of the trip.. Still planning...any more suggestion :)))

We stayed there for2 nights. We had the family interconnecting rooms which came with a kitchenette so we were able to prepare simple breakfast with stuff we bought from the supermarket. Very nice rooms with 2 queen size beds per room. Food at the resort was quite ex. We drove out to eat on both nights. Can't remember tha name of the restaurants, but there are some restaurants on the way to the resort, very nice choices there by the waters. Definitely cheaper there than eating at the resort.

We went direct to Tangalooma upon arrival, then moved on to another hotel, which I can't remember the name now because it was so bad! It came with our F&E hotel and air ticket package. I was glad I did not extend in that hotel as suggested by the travel agent, but booked the seaworld resort on my own instead. I need to caution you that seaworld resort is a little out of the way from the main Surfers paradise area and so it is best if you have a car if you plan to stay there.
