talking about ice cream, I wonder how much Nebbermind has eaten from the 3 tubs?

Just saw Weis sorbet...$7.95 nia....so tempted but not more space in the freezer :frustrated:

Buy a bigger fridge? Or buy a bar fridge put inside your bedroom... wait nanti your wifey uses the whole fridge to store her skin cares :rotflmao:

Anyone tried frozen yogurt? I think it's possible to replace ice cream with frozen yogurt.

Nope... you will miss ice cream if you are an avid ice cream lover like me. Lol.
Tonight's dinner:

              1. Pan fried cod fish (the children hate this, but are forced to eat once a month)
              2. Steamed pork dumplings with cabbage, onion, mushroom all minced up
              3. Carrot+Onion+Tomato soup

If the delivery from Taka comes earlier, maybe I will go out to buy a box of silken tofu to add into the soup.

Still considering whether I should do a egg drop into the soup? Like a bit crowded hor?

Why don't like cod fish? This is one of our fav fish and it is a staple at home. We eat at least 3 times a week, the other days are other fish.
              Hi, Imami

You got the right \"type\" of cod fish!! :hi5:

In Japan. there are 2 types of cod fish for general home cooking-- 白い鳕 and 油鳕. The one that is more popular is the whiter and less translucent; it's the \"authentic\" 鳕, 白い鳕 , which is the steamed cod fish dish served in restaurants. Crispy on light pan frying, almost no oil, less fishy and sticky....

Unfortunately, most of the supermarkets in SG passed off the cheaper 油鳕 as 白い鳕 cod fish.

油鳕 is full of oil, when fried, produce excessive amount of oil, can be as much as a Chinese table spoon from a 50g of fish steak... it is only good for braising by adding enough of corn flour and other starch to absorb the oil.
:hi5:

Actually I dono which type of cod I am getting. I got my supply through my mum each week. I just reimburse her. All I know is these cods are expensive :moneyflies: :moneyflies: a palm size cod costs $25 :yikes:.

But heck la, we love cod fish. In fact, hubby says son and me must be cats in our previous lives, he never seen someone who loves fish so much. the funny thing is I only like expensive fish. I like promfret too :please:

I don't let hubby know how much the cods cost. I just tell him \"quite expensive\". If he knows he is chomping $25 cod fish, I think I won't get to eat cod anymore. 😢

Me loh. I will have yoghurt in my freezer more often than I have ice-cream. My kids love yoghurt as much as ice-cream.

Same here. Sometimes I freeze my ice tea and have it like shaved ice or lick it.

Can't lick it in front of DH. He will :censored:
