There are cities in Asia with underground shopping (maybe because of the cold weather). I think it’s perfectly fine … just cannot imagine what will happen if there’s a power outage or aircon breakdown.

Last week, there is an article on the soil/rock conditions in Sg. Should be easy and cheaper to go up than to go down.

Electric bill should not be an issue as they can tap solar power from above ground and use LED lights.

Where did you get the info that Sg has plans to build underground homes?

I read this a while ago but didn't know how trustworthy it was.
