Pasir Ris Crest Secondary School

Actually no need to be good in music. As long as the child does not dislike music and even better if has an interest in music, you will get lots of exposure in this area.
1 thing good is that they will keep the students after school for about 2 hours everyday for them to do their homework. This is to prevent the kids for roaming around after school. -
You seems to know the school well. Any kids that you know are in the school? Keep them 2 hours? Is it compulsory? Or only certain teachers to their students only.

I don’t know of any kids in there but I went to their open house and spoke to their vice principal. Did not ask is it every student but from what I hear, it seems to be that way. It was also mentioned that they are very strict with discipline and will not hesitate to punish and give the child demerit points. May be other parents with kids in there can confirm this?

Unless your child likes music, if not, can give this school a miss. My 2 cents worth of comments.

Most of my friends’ children secondary focus a lot on remedial/supplementary class for weaker kids but this school does not practice what they preached.

Hi, my dd is trying PRC via DSA. Hoping to get more info about this school. The school was in band 7 in 2011. Has the school’s O-level results improved since then? Grateful if any one can share their recent O-level results.
Has the school improved in any other aspects, such as increasing number of students getting into poly and good JCs?
