Can't believe the PSI shows the air is in the healthy range.

Wonder where they put up those sensors ... :skeptical:
Totally agree! See if they update on TV news later.. ..

Those psi meters, if they put in the open, will give high reading of the haze. My eyes were tearing and I kept sneezing…sickening. Hubby didn’t know it was this bad until he came home.

reading taken at 12 noon, when it was raining ....

haze was thickest after the rain and started to thin out towards late afternoon. Next reading was taken was at 4pm .... :slapshead:

I couldn't even see the block clearly...and the acrid smell was terrible.

Not so bad today but back to scorching hot sun.

How do you cope with weather in the 30’s. Yesterday, in England, we had about 20 to 21 and it was glorious and just right. Any hotter and we woud have to stay indoors. That being said I am looking forward to viisting your country next year.

                        Hi optimistforum,

Other than the month of Dec and early Jan (our traditional rainy season, hence cooler), the other months in Spore will be hot, hot, hot! Temp at least 30. So make sure you have lots of sleevless, short sleeves and cotton clothings. Airconditioned places might be a little chilly, a light sweater will be sufficient. Lastly, wearing a pair of sandals might be helpful in our hot and sometimes rainy weather.

Hope you’ll enjoy your stay in Spore!

P.S Think the biggest Popular bookstore where the assessment bks are found is in Bras Basah, near Raffles City. Smaller branches are found all over Spore.
