You might as well, just turn onto Bukit Timah from Eng Neo for that short little drive to NJC. Even if have traffic jam also not as bad.
Will there be lotsa cars turning into Hillcrest?
I think for NJC better drop under/near the bridge. I think those parents of RGPS will turn into Hillcrest ... pls correct me if I am wrong ...
Yes, that's one of our option. If NJC starts late, send your child a little bit later than 7.20 am. The jam should ease off a bit. The Hillcrest road should have been cleared by then. But do look out for sometime unusual long queue. If from far you can see rows of car lining up the left side before Hillcrest, then drop your child off at the bus stop. -

I actually didn't see a queue of cars at Hillcrest when I drove by around 7.15am -

Was it a schooling day when you did the \"test\" ? -

Yes. I told you I did the test drives on 2 separate occasions during the 4th school term of the year in Sept & Oct. -

You did ? Paiseh old apek like me got memory lapse. Hahaha
So, just to reconfirm,
a) your test also conclude that the jam along Bkt Timah Rd after turning left from Eng Neo Ave is not bad ? Can I know how long it takes from that corner to under the bridge at NJC ?
b) how many minutes it takes to drive the whole length of Eng Neo Ave ?
Thanks -

Wah lao - then I *lao a-por* already, ah. My eldest older than your eldest, leh. haha.phankao:

Read the 1st page where you first asked this question on this topic.
I cannot remember the exact timings, but I think I left bishan around 6.50 or 6.55am and reach njc around 7.10 to 7.15am each time.
I remember using Eng Neo from Bishan took me less time than using the Bukit timah exit via Adam Rd. -

Thanks but actually I am referring to more specific question.

Q1:
I actually wanted to know the duration/time taken to drive from the Eng Neo/Bkt Timah junction to under the bridge at NJC (this question is bascially to determine the time taken along that short stretch of Bukit Timah Road)
Q2:
This question is actually to determine the time taken to drive along the Eng Neo Ave itself (ie from the time you exit at PIE until you reach Bkt Timah Road)
Thanks -

I think it's around 15+mins from Adam Rd where the jam starts to the u-turn to the road in front of njc.

If use PIE, no jam for me bc I exit to pie from Adam Road (before the jam starts for Bkt Timah rd). And the whole stretch down Eng Neo takes only like 10 mins at most. -

Thanks phankao, will also go try out tomoro morning ...

The name's Mr Jonathan Chan Tel 94743637. (Name card simply states \"School Bus Transport Service\").VitoRelax:
I spoke to HCI's bus operator earlier to enquire about pick-up time and fees (for North) and learned that besides HCI's students, they also send students from other schools. They may be willing to fetch NJC students.
How to contact this HCI bus operator ?
Btw, what time does HCi starts school ? Also 7.20am ?
Thanks
HCI's assembly time is also 7.20am. :D
Yes, he also pickup from the East & the cost is reasonable at about $115.
The only problem for me is that the bus will arrive so early at 6.20 bcos he said must reach HCI at 7.15am.
Just wondering for HCI students in the East, if the bus comes at 6.20, then if there is a jam at PIE (due to accident or what not), how to reach HCI before 7.20am ? :?
