Today's dinner-

      1. Baked chicken wings n chicken breast
      2. Mushroom soup
      3. Iceberg lettuce n corn kernels

      Maybe make an apple crumble

Can share the recipe for the apple crumble?

      Super simple:
      1. slice the apple, no need to dribble lemon juice or cinnamon powder, can put in some raisins
      2. mix flour+sugar+wheat germ+butter cubes, till crumbly

doing individual serving today using pyrex glass bowl

      1. Lay the apple slices in the bowl
      2. top up with the mixture #2
      3. bake in preheat oven at 180 deg C for 15 to 20 mins

My elder boy had his braces tightened ytd, so these few days will be serving soft fruits or fruity milkshake again.
Sounds easy. Thanks for sharing your recipe. But I think I can only squeeze some time to make it during June holidays. I prefer blueberries or strawberries or mango toppings. It will sell better in my house.
we had japanese food for dinner at our usual jap restaurant.

            What's their speciality?

sashimi, fresh & cheap since they are a fish mart. And I love their futo maki, very authentic, unlike those in those jap sushi chain.
Where is this Jap restaurant?

Upon baking, the blueberries' juices were released - an apple/blueberry crumble with a wet base.

If you add fresh fruits as toppings, the crumble might be wet and lose its texture.

The one I made tonight has the texture of the crushed peanuts found on Chinese mochi bcos I used very little butter.

not for those who need to prepare the ingredients
I don't know about my sil. But my mom and me are ok. Perhaps becos we split the work. Three women working in the kitchen for the fillings provides good bonding time for us.
