Town council also provide general cleaning service for public housing. No doubt litters, dogs' poo and urine are everywhere but cleanliness are still maintain by an external vendor. Which auditor firm do they engage?

        octoberbaby,

If one person clean, 35 people dirty the place, it's a losing battle. Cleanliness has to come from the user themselves. Cleaners can do the general cleaning, anything outside the scheduled work that requires them, the cleaners need to be informed. The people in your dd class must inform the cleaner if they are not able to clean up themselves.

Whether town council or school, I think this protocol applies for everyone's well being.

Hi! Haven't posted in a while, but what osim said is true. There are only that few cleaners in the school. Plus, I don't think classrooms are even in their job scope to begin with. The students were supposed to clean their own classrooms. That's why there's supposed to be duty roster for each class and even classroom appraisals.

Can't expect the cleaners to always clean up our mess, right?

my DD cohort, no such things had ever happened! But DD did mention this is a strange year............BUT it could be any visitors \"strangers\" from outside. :pokeeye: I still believe all the gals are very well brought up, disciplined and good family values... Likely the cause is external visitors.... :xedfingers:

in all due respect to the cleaning contractor (not sure new cleaners) or the new vendors servicing the school etc... best is all the gals just keep their valuable things away from public (external) eyes and not anyhow like in the past .... the trust of NOT losing things in the past, results in the confident of not being careful! This year, changes in the canteen vendors and others.....can not take for granted....their suppliers or delivery drivers can see iphone /S3, mac book....Ipad...or whatever around ..just be careful. :xedfingers: :pokeeye:

I’ve a couple of CCA questions to ask. My daughter only joins RGS this July (Yr 2), and we need to find a CCA. I have discovered that some will not accept mid-year entrants, so can anyone suggest a Performing arts/Club & society that she could consider? I know that she may not qualify for some of them anyway. Sports and uniformed groups are out. I’ve asked for the contact of the teacher in charge of CCAs and will check with her too.

Is there still a distinction between Core/Merit CCAs or can any be taken as a main CCA?
