Victoria School

Hi MADJP , thanks for the little info on AHS .Really hope to learn and share more with you about the school but this is the VS threads so not too good to elaborate more . If not , many of the readers here will get bored
Probably we can talk more in AHS threads .... -
Btw, does anyone know if handphones are allowed during the camp?
Handphones will be kept by the teachers and will be returned at the end of the camp.
I understand your anxiety of not contacting your DS for 3 days but I think it is an opportunity to let go and let him be independent. The transformation for most Victorian after the 3 days camp is amusing. Experience for yourself and you can share your thoughts with us after that.
You can always monitor the activities from this link http://edge2009.blogspot.com/ (which I mentioned earlier, this blog is setup by Mr Siow, one of the VS PE teacher).
Not sure if they are still updating this blog for this year camp. You can always pen some words of encouragement at the C-box! Already there are some questions posted. -

Agree with you. Sorry to bore you, VS people ! -
Have any of you managed to get into the blog for the camp? I have tried many times but couldn’t seem to get the right address. Is it edge2010vs.blogspot.com? Thanks.
Mr Siow: Yes, edge 2010 blog is http:edge2010vs.blogspot.com. There is a 'vs' after the edge2010 cos someone else registered for the original address
Happy viewing!
Pray for good weather and an enjoyable camp trip for all Victorians! -

I guess the best way to find out is to check with the school. I know they accept DSA for Chinese Orchestra because my DS2 had a classmate who got in this way. I have a feeling the school is also particular about interviews. All the best !

After the orientation and camp, I think all parents agree that they have made the right choice in sending their sons to VS.  DS3's best friend regretted that he refused to choose VS. :stupid: :stupid: :stupid: To parents of P6 students this year: check out the schools and make your choice wisely. :xedfingers:
