wanna take leave to prepare my boy to school... but can't... maybe i ask for flexi half day off?

my boy came back and asked me for $4 to buy something at a shop next to the canteen. I assume its the bookshop cos he told me that he saw someone getting a book - either a diary or organizer… i don’t know if the teacher has asked the kids to get it or not… does your kid mention anything like that?

My boy told me it a bookshop. The $4 is to buy a diary which it cost $3.75. It is compulsory for them to buy.

My son just join HPPS for the Gep Programme this year. He is in Pri 4K, just wondering anyone have kids in the same class or programme. Care to have a chat :grphug:

Hi, I just got back to this forum after a long christmas break... hahaha... my DS3 came out to this world before christmas, and keep both of us real bz.


My DS1 wanna go to 4K as he is from 1K, 2K etc. in his former school. But he is allocated to 4L... I think both are the same right? I sent u a PM with my yahoo contact. DS1 seems to adapt quite well to the new school. He introduced me to the 7-up game and kind of fun for us to play while driving. We didn't visit the school since school re-open and now just wait for 29 Jan to visit the school.

On seeing how happy kid is, I'm glad I listened to advice to send kid to GEP

Thanks! I'm very happy your DD like it so far in the new school. I know what a struggle u been thru, trying to convince her about changing school.


And YES!!! I forgot the ice cream... My DS1 mentioned it several time and they got a number of favour to try... he is targeting on the lime next week.. My DS1 is in 4L... classes like 5 gals and 15 boys. Not sure if 4K the same, i.e. lesser gals I PM you with my contact.

My girl just got transferred to HPPS (P4). So both of my kids are now in HPPS. My son will pass his PSLE this year. Tough time ahead of him.

My gal is in P1 this year in Henry Park. I intend to go holidays during the 1 week chinese new year break as I m forced to take block leave. Can I just checked with the experienced parents here whether is it okay for a P1 child to skip school for 3 days right after chinese new year, which means chu si, chu wu and chu liu??

Will she miss out much? and will the school allow?
