      nugget:
Can I ask if your child are attending any private speech therapy?

My son pte speech therapy sessions are ending. I am wondering if I should continue with it or should I sign him up for social classes instead.
Doc said my child don't need speech therapy. 🤷

          Www:
My child has answer \"don't know\" to what is a dog. I know my child knows what is a dog because see before.

Later my child name the dogs' name (relative's dogs). šŸ˜‚

Later, I ask when raining, what we need to take. Then child answer walk shelter.
You are expecting too much from a young child. The question \"what is a dog?\" requires very abstract thinking. I expect you didn't ask that. If you asked \"what is that?\" pointing to a dog, it still requires abstract thinking to realise that it is a member of the class 'dog'. Your 2nd example shows that your child is thinking, so even if he didn't give you the answer you expected, you should give him credit for it. And there seems to be no problem with his speech.

We know my child has no problem with speech except to pronounce much clearer for others to understand. Basically we only take the doctor advice with a pinch of salt. My child has a smaller group my child classified as \"friends\" in CC. Does not like to play with every children.

🤷 I like my child as my child learns things very fast. Teach already, can recognize after 2-3 times repeated most of the times, the cons is \"bad\" influence things also learn very fast. šŸ˜“ Time table also follow. :rahrah: I create a time table and easy to manage my child to learn. No tantrum made. I just have to say look at the time table, today learn what? Child just follow smoothly. šŸ˜‚

Based on your description of your child, I think the GP's suggestion of ASD is probably wrong. If you are concerned, you might want a 2nd opinion, but yor child sounds perfectly normal to me.

But doc just said mild autism based on lack of eye contact, following sequence too closely, which we don't think so, if not stated on time table. Not into role playing with dolls in psychology test. Why would my child want to play with dolls?

Currently child can play anything on kitchen table and use the plate mat as driving wheel.

That's why I am taking the doc's advise lightly. 🤷 From feet are flat (we ignore the sole making few years back) till now mild autism. Flat feet no longer flat now.

What's next diagnose for the next appointment? šŸ˜‚ Well, I am thinking of a second opinion, but hub said no time for that, takes so long again to do all the tests. 🤷 I think I just go the EPIC test a few months see what can be help. Nothing then stop going.

I have seen some worst cases in child dev in the hospital. Really screaming, tantrum throw toys all over.
