Ermmm, 25hourmaid, in your own words, you OTed....again...

Haha, it is different! I OTed in MY OWN THREAD, I suppose that's the priviledge as the thread starter? πŸ˜‰ If you have noticed, I OT in other people's thread for 2 to 3 posts at most, not 2 to 3 pages like in this thread and I will usually apologise and leave the thread if I have nothing else to say in that thread relating to the particular topic!

      Ok, back to topic:

      SCGS 251

Huh? Why is SCGS 251 surprising? :?

Yalor, why is it surprising ? All schools COP this year drop 2 to 3 points

Hi Vito, thanks for bringing the topic back on track, but I was wondering why you mentioned SCGS' COP all of a sudden? :? SCGS' COP is already updated as 251 and listed on Page 1, so I did not see any need to update anything.

I expect much higher like at least 257 as it's very established and elite school, comparable to other schools in Bukit Timah. πŸ˜‰

It's not an IP school, so I wouldn't expect that sort of score , like 257.

Besides the fact that it is not IP school, students from its affliated primary school can enter the school at very low PSLE scores, something like COP minus 30 (or 50? can't remember exact figure). In this case, for students who get above 250, they will be studying together with students who are much weaker than them. Hence no reason for its COP to be high.

For their own girls, so long as they get pass 200, they have a place

There have been some some talks that the new principal wanted to raise it to 220 or something like that but some parents who are old girls refused for obvious reason

Actually they should raise the score to attract better students. Even getting into SJI needs 238 (affination).
