      WorriedParents748:
There is this RPA, Raffles Parents Alumni (I am not sure abt the full name) which all parents are part of. They do organize occasional events such as the recent Family Day. You can get involved and speak to other parents

      Hi,

RPA members are also invited to events organised by the Old Rafflesians' Association (ORA).
There is a PSLE Maths Talk this Sat, 27 Apr.
RPA members who still have children in primary school can look into this.

      Please see the ORA website:

Hi, I thought I ever noticed that RI (pants) back pocket has Raffles written on it?

Yes.. Both the RI shorts and long pants have \"Raffles\" on the back pockets.. The socks have too..

CHS, SJI, ACS and many other schools have too.. šŸ˜„

But must be very near the boys then can see.. šŸ˜‰

Ya lah, that is why I said from far cannot differentiate who are which schools. There are so many whites. Only behavior, language and presentation of the students.

Very very near then can see everything clearly.

Anyone has experience in changing EZLink card? Can the new card be used to scan & enter by Marymount gate or need to inform the school about the change? TIA.

Hi. Just checked this thread .... Mid year exams have started so I think you are already aware that the kids don't have lessons, unless extra lessons are arranged by the teacher for the class. They don't need to attend school if they don't have an exam that day and on marking days.

Good luck to all DS for the mid year exams!

My eyes fail de. But actually since RI is the oldest sch in Singapore, all the other schools probably base their uniform on RI, true or not?

Lol, it's white; a rather common uniform set mate.

And yes, it's somehow possible to identify the school even when one is miles away. Somehow. Good skill to pick up anyway.

So many days staying at home do nothing after this mid year exam and it is not even school holiday yet. Perhaps they could be engaged in some kind of activities like outdoor/CCA/Sabatical … or CIP Most of them will end up playing computer game.

Yup fully agreed. I somehow find DS much more relaxed now compared to last year.

That's what I worried... seems like more playing and relaxed as compared to P6 time... wonder whether what's the load like as DS doesn't really like to share what's happening...

Erm... Suppose you see groups of boys (each group from the same school) in their casual clothings, with no clue as to which schools they are from. Would you be able to tell, from their behaviour, language and presentation, which schools they are from? BTW, I was from Raffles. So.. no sour grapes...
