      mindays:
I did not assert that TJC and RVHS are not fit to be IPJC. Yes, IMO they are underperforming but never did I once say that they are undeserving. .

You are again trying to play with words and wiggle yourself out. Go read your posts in the NYJC thread. You claimed that NYJC 'results\" were better than TJC and RVHS and thus TJS and RVHS is no better than a non-IP JC. As NYJC don't even publish detailed A level results breakdown (not sure why they do not), I was surprised how you even managed to come to that conclusion without supporting data.

did you also not say that NYJC 'results\" is better than NJC and Dunman High ? :scratchhead:

          Thanks
Catchment would be for CHS and SNGS.

I can understand why current SCGS girls don't want to go EJC, coz likely a lot of them stay near SCGS which is the Bukit Timah-Holland area.
It is convenient for them to go to the temporary holding site at Mt Sinai Rd, but not the future permanent campus.

That’s right. 2016 Year 1 batch. My DS batch 🙂

I hope it will really really be ready by then.
              Already delayed twice.

My objective prediction (I emphasise objective!! No malicious intention, since my DS is in CHS) is that in 2019, the L1R5 cop may not be that good & may even drop to double digit coz that’s the batch that will be at Mt Sinai Rd in JC1, & Sin Ming Rd in JC2.

With such logistics inconvenience, likely EJC won’t be a popular choice for the JAE students.
From 2020 onwards, we should expect progressive improvement to the L1R5 cop.

I mean yes, we can only speculate about it. I am curious how the usual bunch of people will react to this post :lightrod: and demand for evidence and facts to back up a said and admitted opinion 😂

Don't think so....I was in the batch in RJC ( first year in Paterson) and second year in Mt Sinai. Distance was never my primary consideration, as long as I like the school and it wasn't too far away like Jurong. During my time, there were no such thing as MRT to even shorten the travelling time. With MRT, provided it does not break down 😄 , it is pretty convenient to travel anyway around the island. I chose RJC for the Quality of teachers and \"Branding\"

Likewise for Eunoia, the quality of teachers are excellent ( as read from first page of this forum, the credentials for the teachers were impressive) with many experience teachers from RI , VJC, Dunman High e.t.c. The pedigree of the JC stems from the association from the 3 premier feeder schools and the intention of MOE to elevate this JC to one of the best in Singapore.

And if the cohort do well in 2018 A levels and propel the school upwards, the school would be in greater demand, plus having a cool brand new state-of-the-art campus in a park does not hurt.
