Perhaps schools are not sending rejections yet to allow time for parents to respond “initially” to CO offers. In the phone call from ACSI they did ask what our intentions might be. They encouraged a reaction BEFORE the Principal’s address and further urged those that already they intend to reject the CO to do so BEFORE 9/9 to allow them to offer to others on WL (perhaps immediately) which is very fair.

Every parent/student of course still has right to wait until the hard line in the sand to respond which is at end of October.
Yes, indeed, because after 12Sep, all CO/WL submit to MOE and nothing can be done already.

Schools not under pressure to fill up X number of DSA places. So even if CO or WL take up rate is low, school will not reverse decision on rejected students.
        True

        Because
schools can always find students who are able to meet the school's official PSLE AL Cut off point, to fill up all the remaining balanced vacancies left !

Yes, They just make sure the DSA slot does not exceed the % quota. CO is those they willing to take, WL happen to be those they want to take but quota is filled up. Rejection is those they don't want to take.

That sounds right and fair. Thanks.

Apparently VS has some IT issues on their end. So its either this week or early next week.

                    Thanks, for the update

So, this 2022 DSA batch of RGS unsuccessful outcome is actually sent via hardcopy letter inside our postbox, not sent by electronic email method.

Yes, our children can still enter RGS, by PSLE AL score, ie. which is often the more frequently travelled upon road. All the best, to our kids ! Keep up your fighting spirit, peservere on, dont give up. Jia you (x6)
Sorry,I might confuse you, actually I get the email after I called the school and seems not only me not received the notice

At the risk of sounding like sour grapes, they just don't care IMO. Only the COs and WLs matter to them. Otherwise after these few days, why didn't they rectify the omissions with another email blast? I know people who still haven't been officially rejected.

Says a lot about RGS as a school tbh.

Another quiet day. Anecdotally, schools seem slower to releases outcomes this year.
