I would like to thank everyone here for openly sharing their views and encouraging one another. I scroll this platform everyday and almost every moment so as to be updated on which are the schools that have sent out emails etc. Although my DD has gotten 1 CO and 1 WL (which I can see that we are ranked 5), I have made the decision not to tell her unless she pesters me to check. Previously she has told me she knows it is hard to get in and she has not given much thoughts about it since then, so I'll just keep it that way... lollllzzz

I think it's incredibly mature of your DD not to pester you for the results and to remain invested in studying for the PSLE. I'm sure she would have friends who are talking about this and it must be bugging her. So, her resilience is certainly commendable.

Hahaha.. maybe she tried not to have high hopes so that she won't feel that disappointed coz she saw her elder sis didn't get in 4 years ago and her friends around her also receiving rejections from DSA. Just a qns, will the pri sch gets to know the results as well?

Warmest congratulations to your DD and you! I applaud the idea of schools letting candidates know what ranking they are on the wait list. Is this a common practice for most schools?
