Parents who are waiting for NUSH interview emails for your DC… Are you hoping you’ll get it or hoping you won’t? I’m seriously conflicted and go back and forth hundreds of times a day :rotflmao: Not getting the email means all or nothing which yields extreme results one way or another, yet getting it means there’s still a chance but one more hurdle. Am I alone in thinking this way? :boogie:

Hi, yes. Me too. That's because NUSH is so different from the others. Getting called up for interview is coz they are unsure of you. So chances of getting co is also slim. From past years I read. 585 pages of NUSH in kiasuparemts, most will be offered WL after interview and not co. Although WL in the past was converted to co, there is still a risk n many more sleepless nights till PSLE results out. I rather the extreme actually to close the chapter.

Good luck to your son with his other choices. Mine was not called up for interview either. Expectedly since he only joined the first station, got disappointed with how they measured, and didn’t want to move to the others. Oh well. 😓😓

What happened in first station that disappointed your child?

The vertical jump equipment is not high enough to measure his reach (he reached way beyond the highest stick), so estimate lol.

And that was his strongest area. The result was about 10cm lower than his normal jump at various recent events.

Also some other subjective observations which I will withhold from sharing in public. It can happen anywhere so we accept it.

DD finished the selection test/trial/interview last Wednesday 12/7, but no further updates from them as yet as of today 19/7

Hi. Wish to inquire from those who have been through performing arts domain for schools that have 2 rounds


Round 1. Audition + mini interview ( by 2 teachers - assuming are the incharge of the CCA & coach)

Round 2. if chosen, to attend another round of interview.

Assuming if asked to come back for interview, usually what does it entail? Will the first round audition have some sort of score that is then added to the 2nd round interview score ? Or is it a clean slate where everyone that gets to this round gets evenly judged purely on interview etc?

If u ever get called up for Round (2) interview, nothing to do with your Round (1) results anymore : these are already over & done with.

At Round (2)
Is these two impt criteria :-

1) either P or VP

2) music maestro (Artistic Master),

have \" chemistry \" with u,
like u or not.
