You will have to ask RI Principal, if u want to know the answer. Only Principal or DSA panel officer in charge know.

Every year, every batch, the quality of DSA P6 candidates differ. So, the number of COs differ, per batch.

Remember.
This number is not fixated.
Some years, have more COs.
Other years, have lesser COs.

does anyone have any info for last year, out of the 50-100+ who sat for the Raffles academic Science domain selection test, how many was shortlisted for the interview, and eventually how many got the CO?

I think the total DSA number was mentioned by the Principle during Parents orientation. Alas I cannot recall. But here is a \"PSLE math word-problem\" which can give a good estimate.
- 1MA and 1SC DSA in the kid's class Year1 class
- Both DSAs had AL5
- DSA students spread across 12 classes in 2022
- 12 Year1 classes in 2022
- class size is around 34


I also recall RI says they do not have a fix number for DSA entrants.

You mentioned,

1) Total:
got 12 Sec 1 classes in RI (for 2022)

2) DSA students are all spread out, across
these 12 classes.

So,
assuming that each of these 12 classes has one DSA Science pupil, I will conclude that

a)
minimum,

RI would have offered at least 12 (COs + WLs got converted into COs on PSLE results released date), just for Science Talent domain alone

And

b) RI does not conglomerate, put all these 12 students altogether into one, same Sec 1 class,
but

spread them all out..
