Congratulations to all, who have received their COs, after attending interview.
That's fast! Boys' schools seem faster. My friend's boy from another boy's school (MS) has also received CO.
:congrats: -
All co only comes after an interview isn't it? except nus high, a selection test + camp instead of interview

Your child applied to CHS ? Maybe you can call and ask, if they are releasing yours yet?

You may want to refer to Instructions inside NUS High Application form itself, because the answer u looking for, is all found inside this form itself.
i see.. is it fully dependent on the NUSH selection test and not dependent on whether she gets platinum / gold / silver etc for Math / Science Olympiads? or u need to be shortlisted to even take the selection test?
Let's take a closer look, inside this Application form (NUS High). Open up this form. What did content of the form inside, say ?
It states very clearly, explicitly that
1) you apply for
EITHER
NUS \"Maths\" or \"Science\" domain. So, u choose one domain only. You want to DSA into NUSH by Maths, or by Science ? Are u stronger, in Maths or in Science ?
2) inside the Application form, it already stated explicitly that -
Round 1 selection test :-
is for ALL applicants.
It did not mention
Round 1 test is for some shortlisted candidates only,
but
for \"ALL\" applicants.
3) next, it says that Round 2 selection test is for some students only, ie.
those short listed candidates.
So, u interpret yourself.
How do u get short-listed or be invited for Round 2 test, after having sat for Round 1 test ?
Of course
A) you must have already passed Round 1 test,
+
B) NUSH will also evaluate all those achievement certificates for Maths / Science domain, which u have submitted to them.
C) After attended Round 2 test, if u managed to pass this 2nd test,
then,
NUSH will offer u CO.
But,
if NUSH have doubts,
not sure whether to offer you a (CO or Waitlist or rejection),
Example
don't know whether u can cope with NUSH 6 years academic rigour or not,
or
don't know whether u truly have passion in that domain which u have applied for,
then, that's where (when)
NUSH will invite u, to come down for an interview, talk to u face to face, where NUSH give u the chance, to speak up for yourself truthfully in front of them.

if Catholic High school (CHS) have already released COs for some domain, if your son has also applied to CHS, can call up the school to inquire for your kid.
:thankyou: May I ask if this is for which domain? -
Thank you all! 😊

For Catholic High, to receive a CO or Waitlist, Yes, correct, u need to attend an interview.
All co only comes after an interview isn't it? except nus high, a selection test + camp instead of interview
In contrast,
For NUS High, the opposite arises (takes place). Interview conducted is meant for those pupils where NUSH not sure whether to take the student in, for the next 6 years ahead fast paced academic rigor or to reject. So, NUSH interview is meant to give chance to students, to speak up for themselves. -
Hello, is there anyone who received a CO from NUSH and has no Math/Science Olympiad experience & awards?
-
Hi Phtthp the grandmaster, I am curious, what happens if a child applied 2 domains to the same
school? Would the school offers 2 COs (say if the child cleared all 2 rounds for both domains) or the school will only offer one CO so that other applicants will be given an opportunity -
