Agree, problem sums nowadays are very cheeemmmm and at least 14 heuristics (Problem Solving Strategies) can be used while solving PSLE math! I think so long as you have continuous guided her then should not be an issue lah! :boogie:

Don't worry as I also got this information when I attended the PSLE Math preparation workshop last year.

The 14 strategies are:

Act it out
Change point of veiw
Draw a diagram
Guess & Check
Look for a pattern
Make a table
Make a systematic list
Make suppositions
Simplify the problem
Solve part of the problem
Use a model
Use before - after concept
Use an equation
Work backward

Think by P6 they should have be using most of the above method when solving the problem sums.
