Crying babies

Just wanna share, my dd cries a lot and has a chili padi personality if u know wat i mean... ahhaha
My DD is the same.
We have not adopted any method in training her crying nor sleeping habits.
Truth be told, IMHO, she does't cry that much.
DH is the disciplinarian, and strangely her playmate as well. If she's \"tried something\" or attempted to, he would \"UH!!!\" her and she will first pout, then cry. But she wouldn't come to me, she'll just stand there and cry abit, then whimper and go to DH to kiss, hug and make up.
So I think we are quite lucky in that department.
It's bedtime that worries me.
DD sleeps from 9pm-9am every day of the week. She wakes up for 2 feeds, between 1-3am, and then between 5-7am.
And when she wakes up for her feed, boy does she wake both of us up! The crying is loud and intense and doesn't stop until the milk bottle is in her mouth or I'm nursing her.
My take is that DD won't be a baby forever and the first 3 years is the toughest, so I'm taking it all in stride and letting her grow at her pace. I was a SAHM and now a \"panda-eyed\" FTWM -

With Dr Ferber's sleep time adjustment technique, I successfully trained DD to sleep through from 11pm to 8am, without night feeds. It is tougher on us coz we need to play or carry her till quite late but at least we don't need to wake up in the middle of the night. My SIL's baby sleeps from 7pm to 7am (waking up for night feeds) but some say she's lucky coz she doesn't need to play with him and can have free time after 7pm. It depends on what you consider precious... free time for yourself earlier or undisrupted beauty sleep. I am still awake at 2am as I start my \"me time\" at 11pm... hahaha -

I prefer DD to sleep at 9pm.
She only has one nap in the day, anytime from 1-4pm, for about 2 hours.
By 8pm, she's very tired and cranky.
So we start her bedtime routine, warm bath, brush teeth, bedtime story, hugs and kisses, nursing then zzzz for me and her, no later than 9.30pm.
Then DH is free to watch cable tv or surf the internet.
As I get up at 7am to prepare to go to work, this is a good schedule for us. And I think good for her when she starts school as well.
