Depends on what flowers u need them for. Most wet markets near you - Redhill, Clementi, West Coast markets hv florist stalls selling typical orchids, carnation, etc. I don’t do neigbourhood florists as I find the selection too limited.
Just asking if anyone can suggest places in the Tiong Bahru to Clementi area to get a few stalks of cut flowers? I know some supermarkets sell cut flowers, and some florists as well. But I can't remember where these might be. Do markets like Tiong Bahru market or Mei Ling St market have florist stalls, and do they stay open all day?
For a weekday next week. Thanks!
I wld go to Tiong Bahru mkt as there are at least 2-3 vibrant florist stalls with very good selection and some hv unique flowers, leaves & fillers for floral arrangements. I typically go to Thomson nurseries as they’re cheaper in bulk (Far East Floral, Candy Floriculture, Ji Mei, etc). -

Market stalls are good enough! Actually asking for my daughter as she wants to buy some for a friend's graduation and just wants a few stalks of something. Will let her know about Tiong Bahru market.

Oh, for frd’s graduation, Tiong Bahru shld work. Yr daughter will find some very nice combinations. Not sure if all stalls open on Mondays tho, but weekends shld be teeming with activities & these florists usually gets a good crowd. Hope she finds nice flowers.

Cold Storage has some pre-packaged small bouquets to choose from, but they dont stock a lot. So the range depends on the day itself.
Do the wet market stalls provide nice wrapping service since it’s a graduation present? -

My daughter is planning to wrap them herself. She says florists charge too much for wrapping etc! And she knows the recipient won't care about the wrapping; it's the thought that counts.
