My kids are out of the house for too long! They only get home mid-afternoon at the earliest - luckily I have some work to do or I would have too much time on my hands. They are teenagers, so just hang on - your turn will come!

thanks, slmkhoo... :hugs: yes, i'm hanging on! only 6 more years to go.... 😢

Tell me about it.. I have more than 12 years to go...

      Time will fly!

I am glad to have the baby stage behind me! I enjoy pre-teens and older than younger kids. They can conduct reasonable conversations and don't have to be monitored and disciplined as much.

same here…I don’t have patience for bb/toddler stage. it’s fun to play with for 15 min and after that I don’t know what to do.

it’s easier with PRE-teen stage because there is some communication.

Different stage of parenting has different experience/stories to share.
At times when I see toddlers playing at the playground, I do miss those days when I have to chase dd around at the playground.

when child is ours, we have to endure every stage that comes our way.
at the newborn stage, we wish the child grows up faster and so on.
now I am chasing kids, not at the playground but to get their work done.

When I looked back, I wish I had done more or spent/treasure the time more.
Perhaps it is time for me to do some self-reflection.
