Take heart that u’re such a positive member here & helping parents here with your candid advices.

Initially, when I first joined, DH was silent. I got quite involved at one time till he started teasing me for my input. I became mindful of my time spent with my family & esp with DH, so he tease less. Maybe he wants more attention fr you?

My DH knows why I come here and what happened here every day, his idea is : we are not rich and not highly educated and sometimes others might not giving me any stepping stone and make me \" lose face\" so why has to stay in a place where I might be unfairly treated.

I am unable to understand the emotions being a step mum but I think it isn’t good to keep remembering it, after all with so many years of raising the boy. The only difference is the absence of 9 mths in your tummy.

How do you first know that the menopause is starting? When you start not to have period every month? Or before that hormones already creating havoc?

LNW, we will all be old women at some point... in fact I am looking forward to being an old woman sooner because it means I dont have to spend 1h cleaning and washing poop from toddler smelly butts. Fair to say my dh is already an old woman, grumbling and pottering about the house.


This is a public forum and you will see all kinds of views and backgrounds. If people are rude to you, just shake it off! Its anonymous so the bar for polite behaviour is just lower. You should see some comments on my Facebook. I am an Auntie already and proud of it! When people are rude to me I just tsk tsk and push them aside like I am on the HK MTR!

Anyway Bentley drivers are everywhere and being rich or highly educated doesn't mean you have class! I would say you have class and most people would rather spend an hour with you than all the Bentley drivers in SG.

This is my first time joining a public forum and therefore still learning how to interact with people here. I am fine today as last night joined my friends for werewolf games and have won three games in total (I was a wolf during the second games). I went to Finest at lunchtime, plenty of fresh chicken leh.....doesn't seem like a sellout to me but I didn't buy cos we normally eat out.

Just returned from Sheng Siong - plenty of frozen chicken. But yes, no more discount! Didn't look at the fresh chicken as I don't buy that.

I mentioned before that there is a brand of frozen chicken at SS where the pieces are frozen individually before they are put into the big bags. The brand is Danpo from Denmark. It's convenient because you can just take out the no. of individual pieces you need without defrosting the whole bag.
