@ChiefKiasu We were mostly happy with the old format, I think, so maybe try to do something similar unless people want specific things changed? At the moment, so many things have changed (mostly for the worse in many people’s view) that it’s hard to know what to comment on!

@ChiefKiasu happy to hear you are willing to improve the site. This is a very useful site tbh and it will such a waste for viewership drop because of tech issues. Not sure if I am reading your reply right, that you need inputs. Sure, happy to help. We are a bunch of people with nothing better to do with our time haha. I am in the digital marketing space. You can poll users using Google Forms each time you want to make a change, and decide based on the response? Then it is a decision “guided” by your users?

Dear all,
We are in the process of reversing the order of the posts so that posts are in ascending order instead of descending order as it is now. Apparently it will take some time as the posts have to be reordered as such. I’ll let you all know when it is completed.

Not sure if it’s due to inactivity of other members, but the spam issue seems to be getting even more serious.

@chenlaoshi Yes, the spam is bad. There is this “indonesian” syndicate that comes in every couple of hours to spam, which I have been deleting at the same rate.

Is it possible to limit New members to restrict how many new posts they post?

@Stevenage That is a good idea. However, I will manage the spammers every couple of hours right now and we will see how that goes.

@ChiefKiasu Thanks Chief. Besides the inappropriate content which pollutes the forum, they mess up the Recent Posts column.

@MyPillow The new forum is really trying. I’ve asked the programmer to reverse the ordering of posts a month ago and still up to today… nothing.
