Me Time!

MrsKiasu:
I will go to bukit merah sometimes..I quite like older estates. The feel is different.
Same for me too...Although it can get a bit smelly sometimes,I do make it a point to bring both girls to revisit the places in Lengkok Bahru and Bukit Merah where their dad grew up.We even entered to revisit my primary school building which turned into a MOE Cluster Centre at Hoy Fatt Rd several times this year.Everything is still intact.
Just that the security guard told us that we could not enter the the offices in the buildings to disturb the staff working there.
As for today, the girls spent most the time packing my bags because I am flying to the US tomorrow. -
I go commonwealth too. old also. i sometimes go there walk around, drink coffee and frequent the SS supermarket there but just wish that they sell Sakura chicken
meat/poultry sections could be made better

Although I am living in Woodlands,I make it a point from time to time to visit the NTUC at Bukit Merah,Queensway Shopping Centre, the big 5 markets/hawker centres there,IKEA,Tiong Bahru Plaza for old times sake.My parent's flat is still there.
Definitely have things to buy and things to eat over at that area. The nasi padang stall at the coffeeshop besides my primary school has been there for over 30 years. -

lor mee ok only..as I was outside so more convenient to just eat out to fill up the stomach, I will usually go for heavier taste of food as at home usually deprived of richer taste food. i went for its garlic, vinegar and chilli.. take it all away nothing special lor. after reno, the hawker ctr is cleaner. -
