I was thinking that when DD is born, I should bring her to the playgrounds to get to know some friends.. Can play together.. There are 4 playgrounds near my house.. Crowded with babies and toddlers every morning.. Lots of mummies and grand mummies and helpers there too..
lucky you will get your turn really, really soon. :please:TheAnswer:
I have been seeing lots of toddlers and babies in my neighbourhood.. I always pause to look at them while rubbing my tummy..
Cute hor.. The way they run.. Walk also wobble.. Toothless grins.. I like..
These days I go down to the playgrounds quite often too.. Feels happier to see those kiddos.. While taking my morning stroll.. But must go down at the right timing.. After 10am.. All disperse liao.. -

I agree that work can be a killer..janet_lee88:
have another one
Thanks.
My self-reflection is to relook the amount of time I spent with my family instead of being robbed by work. -
kids grow up very fast…we should enjoy them at every stage.
work in the office is never-ending and at the end of the day, everyone is dispensable. so enjoy every minute with the family because that’s where you are always wanted. -

full time working mums face lots of pressure and stress at the office and back home. -

I always thought I would continue working till retirement until a relative shared with me that she regreted missing her 3 children growing years. She was at retirement age then and she said looking back at her life, that was her biggest regret.kids grow up very fast...we should enjoy them at every stage.

That conversation jolted me. I was slogging long hours in office then and was feeling frustrated that I missed the first year of my baby's growth. I served my resignation letter 2 months later. And have been home ever since. -
you can slog like a dog in the office because you are paid and expected to…however can still get the sack…but this will never happen at home.
the benefits reaped from putting in the same hours will churn out happy children who share a bond with the mum. I’ve been a stay-home mum for the past 15 years…it was not all that perfect but I’ve survived.
when I ask my kids if they would have preferred me to be working, their answer is a no. -

Love notes not enough for me.
I told my kids \"hey you are my money trees. Now I'm fertilizing you. Next time I gonna shake you, make sure plenty of money drop into my lap hor\" :rotflmao:
Luckily they're already being brainwashed. They actually agreed with me, accepting that it's 理所当然  -
