oh, janet, you are into painting, am into writing...

not painting as in painting pictures...but painting the walls.
so nearer the end of oct, i have to get boxes to store stuff inside so that it's easier for the men to paint. got hubby to take leave to stay at home as my nose is very sensitive to dust and smell of paint.

Enjoy your painting; still painting except on the walls ...

but i am not going to paint myself...since we decided NOT to move, we are doing progressive renovating...the common loo is renovated, next painting the flat. IF the master bed room loo flooring leaks as well, then renovate it too.

just re-confirmed the colours, now hope they turn out ok.
kids chose their own colours for their rooms, hubby decided on master bed room while i chose hall/dining area. 'freedom of speech' allowed.

was thinking of applying for BTO in sep...but had a change of mind after realizing our present flat is going to have a MRT...have full amenities and familiar with our environment too. so decided to stay put. bto flats now are small and renovating that empty shell costs so much...another scary thing is not knowing what kind of neighbours i will get.

do renovation bit by bit. at least it is less painful both physically and financially. still much cheaper than moving.

My neighbour is nice but has ah-long issue. If we are disturbed, we have to move.

Ok, back to ME time : surfing internet now!

me enjoying ME time...starving already, so will head out for lunch once tutor leaves. i have 3 neighbours...the other 2 are the 4 room and 5 room units...they are of the same age and stay side by side. the other 5 room neighbour is on the other end. so the layout of my place is very comfortable...new bto flats now are so close to each other.
