      SAHM_TAN:

My recent me time includes watching Dream Maker, the latest Ch8 9pm drama. I have not been watching ch8 drama series for the longest time, years and years and years. I wasn't even chasing The little Nonya show.

Not sure why I like this particular show......maybe it's a bit kaypo becos it's abt what's behind the scenes. LOL.

I find myself eagerly watching the catch-up version becos the kids go to bed at 9pm and TV is not switched on when hubby and kids are asleep heehee

      I'm watching this show too.
Usually I only watch Japanese detective drama but this show has my favourite ็‘žๆฉ mah

Is there a catch-up version? what time huh?

It's online, xinmsn. I usually watch it the next morning. So I guess the episode is uploaded the day after it's air.

She's very cute in this show, very unlike the impression I have of her ๐Ÿ˜„

I didn't know Qi Yuwu has such a heart-melting smile till this show LOL.

        SBKS:

coffee has no effect on me.

sbks, u try abstaining from coffee for a day or two. See got effect or not

I thought coffee has no impact on me too. I could drink coffee anytime and still fall asleep within 10min and sleep soundly for the night.

Recently I had to abstain from coffee for supposedly three days. I tell u, the first 24hrs was the hardest. I was literally suffering from withdrawal symptom- yawning non stop and watery eyes. But by third day, I was functioning as normal.

good idea...i shall give it a try during my lieu period...thanks for the suggestion.

        Funz:
Your kids are still young. Doubt you can really get them to read quietly with you. They will more likely need you to read to them.

When kiddos were younger I will always read to them before their bedtime. They get to choose 1 book each. Then when they were able to read independently, they automatically picked up a book to read just before bedtime. This has become quiet time together.
I see. trying to achieve that but quite difficult. by the time they are settled down is 9pm. if read then sleep would be 10pm. quite late for them since mine are sleepy heads.

I thought his acting always stone face le :siam:
Although his character more cheeky in this show

By the way, anyone noticed ้™ˆ่މ่ look fresher than ้ƒ‘ๆƒ ็މ?

My dh said women cannot be too slim when old, will look haggard.
I don't quite agreed until I see ้™ˆ่މ่ and ้ƒ‘ๆƒ ็މ acting side by side.
            Indeed ้™ˆ่މ่ look nicer :siam:

Actually I prefer her usual cool cool detective role more.
She is really cool in person too, I like the way she speaks when being interviewed :please:

But doesn't matter, I'm supporting the show anyway ๐Ÿ˜‰

maybe i should tell him to settle kids every monday morning...waking up at 6am after staying up to watch the entire episode at 12 midnight is very hard...no amount of coffee is enough to keep eyes open.

                :rahrah:

Yes, yes... You should. So that you get to sleep longer, Monday is the day I dislike :gloomy: I wish I can sleep til 11am :imanangel:

this is probably the biggest show this year and expecting many nominees for star award.

I think it's good coz it moves quite fast and have quite a few 'plots' within.

when a person is plump, the wrinkles are not so obvious as well as the age.

perhaps that is why chen liping looks nicer than zoe tay.

our local actresses donโ€™t seem to able to maintain their looks well compared to those from hongkong or taiwan.

That brings to mind Seet Kar Yin aka Hao Yi....

No need to be plump, best is body physique on the fleshier side especially face, packed with more collagen than sculptured face type....hence can withstand the test of time.
