@zac-s-mum The men are just taking out the existing cabinets. They turned off the gas, and tell us that we don’t have a switch that will allow the bathroom heater to have gas during these few days! Cold showers for the girls, or they’ll have to use our bathroom (electric heater). I’m prepared to have a lot of cleaning up to do after they finish!
slmkhoo, after the renov n dust , u will have a quite new kitchen?
how were the charges as consider it is only half kitchen, is it not easy to find contractor to do?i was thinking to overlay toilet tiles, any contractor to introduce?

Thank GOD, dun think my girl sch is affected, she din mentioned it!
we are not restricting my children devices at all… my kids said they need to study or do work even after 11pm sometimes, so i did not sign up any guardian portal. -
@MyPillow Kitchen contractors quote per foot run. We actually just approached this one from reviews we saw online as we didn’t have any other recommendation. Can be a bit risky, I know!
Although it’s only part of the kitchen, it’s a fairly long run of about 3m. But that is the stretch with hob and sink, which is why it’s so inconvenient! Unfortunately, it’s also the part that’s had the most wear and tear.

@MyPillow If they aren’t in the habit of making regular backups, it’s a good habit to inculcate. Not just on the cloud, but also a physical backup at home. It doesn’t have to be everything, just the things that they really can’t afford to lose.
