Janet , ur parents settle in new house le? Is it nearer to u now.

Oh dear , take ponstan means v painful . Ask hubby use counter pain massage for u then put a Gd medicated plaster
Their new place is just 100 meters away from previous one. Best part is when I take a bus over now, the bus stop is just outside. I didn't do much, my aunt helped parents with most of the packing. I only hang around when the movers brought the boxes and furniture up. šŸ˜‰

Your parents moved hse??? It is a challenging task to move hse
Scary to move house. So many things to wrap, pack and then unpack.
People everywhere in the house 😢 The movers are very friendly though. We unwrapped some of the furniture after they were transported over, to save time. But the movers said it is part of their job to do that. I didn't realize how hungry I was and ate like a wolf at 8. Came home, took a shower but couldn't sleep because I was too tired.

Told hubby we are going to stay put in our present flat. :dowan:

buying BTO flat have to pay resale levy. The flats come empty and even simple renovation would require a lot of money. Flooring, cupboards, paint, heater and pipes. Hubby is already hitting 50s...don't have the means to repay loan. Now the new flats are like pigeon holes and so far away. We will probably stay put and if really want to move, it will be to a studio apartment.

No need to move if everything is convenient to you all...I like the idea of staying very long at one place..full of memories. Like.

for the working people, a long weekend is an extra day earned. otherwise they would have to take leave to enjoy an off day.
