A few schools are using Shaping Maths by Marshall Cavendish. Not sure what are the differences in all these course books…

I like this "Targeting Maths" Students’ Companion 1A (Star Publishing) -

saw the worksheets inside - vey colorful & visually appealing to children.
the questions set are manageable.

fyi -
Nanyang primary also using same book.
St Andrew Junior, Greendale primary also same.

i think Horizon only provides Higher Chinese. They do have enrichment classes for P1. my girl signed up for 1st semester only. She doesn’t want it thereafter. The class was on every Fri after sch. But not sure on yr 2013.

hmm… someone ask about proteach… my 1st gal in Pro-Teach. So far she enjoyed it. Provides nap on those days when class ends at 1.30pm. Subsidy only provides when u meet the minimum salary level. per mth is $250. i think some mummies should have attend Pro-Teach orientation on 16Nov (same day as P1 registration).

hi mummies, may i ask, are those textbooks from Popular Bookstores exactly the same? I find the price online from Popular is slightly cheaper, in additional, there are 5% discount for members, please advise, thanks
