Hi, my boy will be going to P1 nxt year. Thinking to enrol him to Horizon under P2C. Worried about his chances of getting in. Will there be any open house??Beside that, anyone can advise me the cost for the student care at Horizon? Any feedback?

Last yr there was balloting for parents staying within 1km. Parents were called if they stay beyond 1km to consider to apply other schools.
Open house is usually in mid july. Cost of student care per mth is $270.

Last yr there was balloting for parents staying within 1km. Parents were called if they stay beyond 1km to consider to apply other schools.
Open house is usually in mid july. Cost of student care per mth is $270.

Hi Mummyofthree, does it means that if i stay less than 1km then my chances will be higher? God bless me better got a place for my kiddo if not will be big headache. Oh gotta to keep a lookout for the open house in July. Thanks a lot for your advise on the student care fee.

Hi mummy...
yes I would say so... but do lookout at the results of every phase. The school intake had dropped 30 vacancies for last year. When I first signed up for Horizon, there were 330 vacancies in yr 2011 but last year down to 270 or 300 (sorry can't remember), as there were 2 new primary sch setup.

Hi Mummy, really thanks a lot for your advise. Hopefully the school intake will not drop further. If not i'm really gonna have a big headache.. Have seen MT gonna to have a open house but Horizon up to date still no update..haiz.. being a mum so tiring even kids gonna to P1..OMG

Horizon open house will be on 19 jul as per my gal’s advice

Horizon Primary School’s bus provider (BT&Tan Bus Transport Service) sucks! They are not flexible at all. In the 1st half of the year, I got them for transport services for 2 way (fetch from home to school & from school to home). However, the 2nd half of the year, I decided to put my daughter into Student Care and yet they can’t accede to my request. The operator are very arrogant, especially May Tan. Yet this operator, only they are allowed to implement changes as and when they like but they don’t accede to customer’s request at all. Anyone knows any other private bus transport company instead of getting them?
