Congrats! Take your time to have fun. Lots of free stuff to download. I think Tankee recommended ChalkBoard before. It's really wonderful for tingxie practice with my ds2! (Thanks, Tankee!) There's a thread on apps for kids but can't remember where I saw it...

I got mine from Best Denki. I did a lot of comparison b4 buying the cover. It's one of the most expensive around but it's very versatile and hardy. Very good feel too.

Personally I don't like the suede interior to be tri-folded outwards, because it can get stained very easily when placed on tables. I'd rather pay a little more for comfort & durability.

I like the original covers that you can get from Apple. Wish they came in more colours and less expensive though.

Do u mean the smart covers? I read the reviews some mentioned it's nit so good.
