I recently got my iphone and guess what.... I have a migraine attack on saturday.... It's been many months since the last attack. I think the small screen, quick scrolling movement and some reading in the car that is causing me to have migraine attack.

I was afraid if I buy iPhone n let the kids use the Apps, they may mishandle the phone and spoil the phone functions. So I Really can consider the iPod Touch, except of cos abit small screen la..Cool! cos I had the impression tt iPod Touch is just a music player with touch screen option...May be if price is ok, can even buy 2! 1 for each kid, no need to fight...

Err...Can I surf the internet using iPod Touch? Err can download books to read too? emmm yes I did try surfing apple.com to find out myself but I end up kinda confused..

The iPod Touch is an iPhone without the capability to make calls (and the iPad is an oversized iPod Touch), so it is fully capable of downloading apps (albeit via wifi and not 3G) and running them.[/quote]

I am worried about my DS' eyesight now since he is playing with my phone everyday.

iPad can support chinese. Maybe it's the file format that is not supported. What is the format of the book? pdf?

go to the Apps store, search for iBook app and install it. Then use the ibook App to d/l books.

Yes...by connecting to a wifi network (at your home/office or wireless@SG). Since iPod Touch is not iPhone, you can't insert a SIM card and surf with the 3G network. Wifi is the only way to do it.

Not so sure about reading books on a 3\" screen...you might want to use an iPad to do that.

In my over 40 years of existence, I have yet to own an Apple product!! :faint:

So I have absolutely no idea how big those apps are. Someone else will have to answer you that.

If the device contains only Apps and no media, 8Gb is more than enough.
