\"...Mr Mah said: \"If you already own a private property, then, please don't, at this point of time, compete with others to buy HDB resale (flats) unless you're genuinely downgrading.\"\"....

I THINK MBT also asking u to THINK b4 u debate with him again... 🙂

well, he should also ask HDB owners not to compete with private property owners to buy a condo, pushing up condo prices in all corners of Singapore

\"If you already own a HDB property, then, please don't, at this point of time, compete with others to buy condo / landed house unless you're genuinely upgrading and moving out of the HDB.\"\"

You ain't doing yourself any credit. If this is what you genuinely feel, then it is really really disappointing.[/quote]Precisely. That's why I said earlier very disturbing views. It doesn't seem like a joke or his so called \"parody of his speech\". Anyway, he can stick to his own views.

Think it may go down a bit more. But there are some rumors that some of the cooling measures will be tweaked by the end of the years.

Do you have a particular location, development etc in mind? If so, avaliability will also be a factor. Even if it goes down later, you may not have anyone selling the one that you are aiming for.

From July, developers have to declare the real transacted price. I think price will drop with more transparency

In general, property and stock are linked, with the delta or difference of 6 months.

In SG context, as property or real estate is controlled more than elsewhere directly, so it may differ to a small extent, but the overall trend and markets are more or less aligned.
