        If you choose those BTO in non mature districts, like Yishun, Tampines, Tengah, Woodland, etc., it won't costs so much.

          My two cousins got Bidadari! So happy for them. I told them they should be able to make money after MOP.

            Didn’t know your son so big already! But our children still young leh, either in pri/secondary school. Maybe another 10 more years before our kids’ turn to apply for BTO. So we are wondering how much will a BTO cost in 10 years time.

            Govt building 6000 new flats at Greater Southern Waterfront. All are 3rm & 4rm flats. No 5rm flats maybe because the BTO pricing for a 5rm flat could cost over a $1mil, thus govt not building any 5rm flats there. 4rm flat cost ard $700K+ after subsidies.

                To be more definite, he is my step son and I am his step mother. Yes, the BTO housing price is keep rising but I believe it will still be affordable by most Singaporeans in 10 years time because foreigners cannot buy BTO. Maybe as parents, you can start to save up some money to financially assist your kids in buying BTO in the future.

                New Flats at Greater southern waterfront will cost a lot but we can always choose to stay in some outskirt areas which BTO prices should be reasonable.

                    Actually its not difficult to own 2 properties with de-coupling without being caught by the ABSD ya? Just to understand, is it above 18 or 21 then can get a property under its name ? How about loan? Can loan be undertaken by the guarantor of an 18/21 year old if still a student? Someone mentioned as long as disposed private property 30 months before applying hdb it is ok right to apply to hdb as a first-timer?

                      Know when to exit and dont let lease decay affects the value if your property.

                        Decoupling will also involve legal and stamping fees, though a smaller amount, not to mention other legal implications in event of matrimonial dispute.

                        Believe the concept of guarantor is no longer allowed for mortgage loan. All intended borrowers of a housing loan need to be listed as owner.
