There is a Star Achiever Award at 4.30pm on 13th December 2015 for CMA students who are top 3 in class or level position or scored Band 1 in Math in MOE schools. Many CMA students are actually doing very well in their studies in school. Learning abacus is a form of brain training and CMA abacus uses dual hands which can activate both left and right brain. It works for my child as her love towards Mathematics has deepened and has reduced the tendency of making silly calculation mistake. It also helps in the speed of doing written work for all subject areas. Concentration, focusing and observation skills, as well as calculation speed are evidently improved based on my observation. It’s an excellent programme. I came to know about CMA when some friends of hers in school went for lessons at CMA lessons since a long time ago and heard from my dd that they are calculating super fast. After enrolling in this programme, not only has my DD’s results dramatically improved and her calculation speed is one of the fastest in her class at school as compared to those who have been with CMA for a longer duration. I’m not sure how long my dd wants to learn at CMA but she is certainly very motivated to move up the grade levels. I have asked her a few times if she wanted to quit but she told me she did not want to quit as it really helps her and she enjoys the programme.

Hi anyone can share at what stage does your child stop learning at CMA?

I withdrew dd2 at end of k1, when she reached multiplication in abacus. I think multiplication was sufficient for that age group.
