Order from Dangdang

Hi all,


Can i check how do i order cd/dvd from dangdang?

Heard that custom is very strict and the dics may damage.

I usually join spree to get my books. Cheapest way. But advise not to order disc.

I would like to order some, wondering how to.

Same here. I have placed my order early dec and till date, i have not receive my books…


Have wrote to Dangdang repeatedly and each time just tell me to wait… this is my first time order from them… and this happened.

I think just bad luck placing the order and then there was so much bad weather. I think it does affect the delivery speed. There was a news report about a Taiwanese using Singpost and it took like extra unusual long for him to get his item. I just tell myself to be patient. If really can’t get the item then I will request for refund

I've never tried ordering from Dangdang... but I was just thinking, could the delay be because of Chinese New Year?


I understand China factories usually shut down for around 2 weeks or maybe more during this period?.. some even shutting down 1 week before CNY so that their workers can go back to their hometown?

For my case, my order was about a month plus away from Chinese New Year. It should be on the seas way before that period. So for my case I think it’s because of the bad weather.

Mine is exactly like yours, it's coming to 2.5mths!
I ever checked with DD on the refund, I was told that it's not possible since it had been shipped out. The only way to refund is do not accept the parcel when they deliver to me. Post office will then return the parcel to DD and DD will then refund the money to me....sounds ridiculous since DD was the one couldn't fulfill its promise of delivering within 8weeks...

Oh I see.. yes, then it probably must be due to the bad weather... but I heard it is so much cheaper if we order online from Dangdang, so I guess, the longer wait is still worth it, provided you order more books at one go.

DD has asked China Post about my case (yup, will take 3 months to check). Will see what's the outcome. Though I hope the items reached me before that. I shall keep the faith that all will end well.
