      hot:
      hi,

I have been trying to order books from dangdang. At the point of submiting the order, please advise which should I select:

and where is the part where the page would prompt for using the credit card like DBS or Citibank? cos when I clicked on the 网上支付, next the page went to the china credit cards icon, what shall i do next?

      thanks alot
Refer to the following picture, you should click the option highlighted in the oval.

btw. can pay by visa card? any problem?

      thks
You must make sure that your Visa/Mastercard has the Secure Code option activated. Do not use Citibank, they give a lot of problems when ordering from dangdang.

So far I know that the following credit cards work:
OCBC cards including Fairprice Plus card
      DBS Amex card

If I remember correctly, I heard someone ordered successfully with POSB Mastercard. Other credit cards may not work.

          Hey,

I dont think my payment went through, it seems its not possible to pay with visa. I have a chinese ICBC bankcard. However when I get to the pay message it seems that the button is greyed out. Anyone know if you can pay with a chinese bank card outside china?

Suggest you check with your bank before you try again because you did received the successful payment msg. Everytime I receive that msg, my payments all ok.

I advise you to email to [email protected] and ask them to check whether they have received your payment first.

I have an account with China Bank and I have tried to use this account to pay in Singapore. However, it is supposed to send a password to my mobile phone, which is not possible since I am already outside of China.

It is very complicated to figure out how to pay online using China bank accounts. I advise you to just apply for an American Express card, it will definitely work.

For Visa/Mastercard, it only work with certain banks like OCBC, and possibly DBS.

I called the bank and they said .... no payment has gone through 😢

ah, I hate when things dont go according to plan... its just ridiculous that my visa dont work.

I have to take the last option to use my ICBC card again and see if that works...

If that dosent work then I will have to ask my relatives in China to buy them and then send them

Finally I managed to order the books!

I used my old ICBC card and after battling with problems with the so called “U 盾” and the token password I finally payed for the books. I got the message from dangdang of the successful payment just seconds after. Never I gotten so excited over paying money.

A big thanks to all who helped me!

Ill come back to this form and post when I get my books!

                      Keltong,
I would still be very happy even if the dvds reach me in march. My greatest worry is whether the parcel can be cleared smoothly at our custom....

I finally receive the 喜羊羊 and 花仙子 dvds after waiting for more than 1 month. Watching them tonite. Going to order some more if the dvds turn out ok, heeheee...

Must feedback on the 喜羊羊 dvd k? was thinking to get the book or dvd...aiya~ burn big hole in pocket already...[/quote]deardear07,

The 喜羊羊 dvds are as good and clear as those sold in sg. Over here, the shops are selling at S$9.90 for 4 episodes, while dangdang is selling RMB120 (excluding shipping) for about 40-50 episodes. Though dangdang price is not as cheap as what Tamarind paid to get them directly in China, this is good enough for me. Will definitely be getting more.

I bought 喜羊羊与灰太狼:经典珍藏版(4DVDs), a total of 128 episodes at a cost of RMB61.30 (including shipping). I guess it's this cheap because it does not come in a plastic box that stores the 4DVDs. It comes in a cardboard box, and the DVDs are in the plastic cover pocket. But the quality is still good as normal ones. So I have no issue. Now DD lowered the price to RMB29.20. When I bought it, the DD price was RMB33.3
