It is SuperKid Camp by Adam Khoo to motivate the P6ers!

Wow. Their camp is not cheap and do your need to pay?

He dun charge school too much. Each P6ers paid abt $150.
Thank you for sharing. Similar to other enrichment center that by conducting lesson in school in fact provides them another channel to promote their business and hopefully there will be individual sign up after the lesson.

            Hi Leanne

            The topics for 6B are:

            Speed (New)
            Circle (New)
            Pie Charts
            Area and Perimeter
            Volume of Solids and Liquids

Yes, I agree the other three are not something new and the following is my view:

Pie chart is the mixture of Circle, fraction and percentage etc.
Area and Perimeter is the integration of Circle, Square, Rectangle, triangle etc
Volume of Solids and Liquids are similar to what had learn in P5 perhaps now cover more in depth

            Cheers

              Hi Brenda,

              Thanks for the details.

Have you touched on speed already?

Anyone has a good way to impart for the speed topic? What are the essence in that topic?

              Thanks.

                Hi Leanne

                You're welcome.

Yes. DD has done some of the speed questions like average speed, average timing, what time A will catch up B, if A leave from Town X and B leave from Town Z etc. This topic is more complicating and I hope dd can understand further once the teacher touch on it next week.

                    Hi Leanne

I bought her the Focus on Maths and she learns the method from there.

Don't worry as they still have months for practice in this topic and I think they should be able to grasp the concept.

I did not buy those math tricks. However, I think can take a look if the questions are really different from the test paper then can consider lah.

                      Hi Mummies,

I met an old friend and talked about kids. She told me she gets Maths assessment books with worked out answers at the back instead of just the answer itself. Saw a Maths assessment at Popular, with answers fully worked out including models…just A book itself and super thick.

                        Hi Brenda,

Are the methods used in \"focus in math\"easier to comprehend than onsponge math?

                        Thanks
