Time flies - 1 week of sch hols have passed, 3 more weeks to go. DS has finally started doing some Chinese assessment, and trying to finish off the P6 Chinese text revision before end of hols. Will have to move up gear in 2nd week, as there seems to be loads of revision to do.

We had just completed the 2nd set of Maths prelim paper (Section C only). Plan to complete most of the prelim paper (certain key section) this holiday.

          Hello Mummies,

Besides preparing for psle exams, what are the ways that u help your child unwind?
DS prefers goes to school than at home, he finds its restless at home.

          Anyone watch Xman?Heard its good.

          Best regards,
          Leanne

Time flies, we are already into the second week of June holidays. DS hasn’t been doing much till now. Apart from going back for supplementary classes last week, he has only done 3 papers so far. In between, he unwinds by playing golf with DH and using his computer time. We have to ‘speed up’ on his revision pace soon.

Just thinking aloud when discussing Situational writing with kid, whether 2011 PSLE will be asking for email, report, letter (formal or informal) etc…

Look at past 2 years they are emails isnt’ it ? Will this year be the same also emails ?
This seems more practical as emails is very common way of communication . What do u think ?

Sometimes when I want to "push" DS to do more revision, I think again that this is sch hol and he should have some break as well. As such, we do some work in the morning, and reserve the afternoon for rest, play and reading.

                  Hi Pen88n,

HI 5..Am like you too.We study half a day and relax half a day.Cannot imagine push non stop, how they take it when school term starts.

DD continues to read her fav story book and leisure activites during the holidays. She needs to recharge to run the next lap.

                  Cheers
                  Lynn
