Hi there,


Just check, beisde the past year psle paper booklet that the teachers are asking to order, is there any other books that the school is asking the pri six children buying?

Is it true that most primary school will give the best teacher in primary 6?thank you.

So far DD school has not yet recommend any other books to buy. How about your dd school ?

I do hear that usually the best teacher will be given for those top classes as well as weaker classes so as to push up the grade.

Dd's teacher has bought PSP by Fabian Ng, a couple of vocab cloze, compre cloze by CASCO.

No, not for dd school's teacher this year.All teachers are normal teachers.

They were told to buy two chinese assessment books so far in which one we already finished during the school holidays.

How far is your dd 's school progressing for math and science?thanks

So far DD school has not yet recommend any other books to buy. How about your dd school ?

I do hear that usually the best teacher will be given for those top classes as well as weaker classes so as to push up the grade.

They are in the 1st topic of Algebra and Engery. A maths test was conducted last week. I think still in the warm up stage leh.

DD also has a math test, on paper two, but was given an hour to complete all.

For sci, we are starting on forces.

DS school has not recommended any assessment books either. So far quite ok work load and DS able to finish in the afternoon and have evening free to relax and go bed early to start next day early.


It’s true that they put good teachers in top and the weakest classes. Top class to ensure they get good score, weakest class to ensure high % of PSLE passes.

Now dd is enjoying the Channel 5 English show as no much work from school.

I believe you are right.

Currenty, they are doing all the groundwork for english which takes up lotsa of time.

Yesterday, saw dd brought back some chinese assessment books.

Remedial class and cca wil commence only after cny.

I do know all her classmates are filled with tuitions now.Most children are being outsourced.

Yes. This event just like a Big Day in life to most of the parent, as such everybody will do their best by all means.

I am also looking forward to see what will be the activity after the CNY.
