      Leanne:
      Hi Brenda,

I can see that most kids are quite relief esp after the math paper.

For science, its really a lot of processing skills involved. So, just have to revise and be alert during the exam.

      Cheers,
      Leanne
      Hi Leanne

Exactly. This is what I had noticed this morning.

For science, the more we can do is just zoom into section B and hopefully they are very alert and remember to answer with the appropriate key concept/key word.

          >80% of students score A or A* in CL, compared to about 40% scoring A/A* in the other three subjects. So more score A or A* but we don't know if it's more A* per se.

The vocab cl for \"uphill task\", can the answer be complex?

can u or anyone remember the other two options given besides demanding and complex?
            The correct answer is demanding.

Can anyone remember the five vocab items tested in this section? The passage is about the successful breeding of the komodo dragon at the Singapore zoo.

            1) thrived - flourished
            2) uphill task - demanding
            3) ????
            4) marking - indicating
            5) significant - important

Hi Dear... Why are you still dwelling on Eng? It's 4 days ago n over already! Even if you know the correct or incorrect answer there's nothing u can do about it. Just concentrate on the balance papers and give it your best shot! You need all 4 subjects to do well and not only English alone so don't think too much and let it affect your balance subjects...

You will do well I'm sure, so don't inflict unnecessary fear on yourself...
            😓

            GL ! :rahrah:

              Hi Ms Tay,

I'm not sure what is the percentage between A or A* on this > 80%.

However, there is a information sharing under the following thread for year 2009 PSLE CL that you may want to take a look:

              http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=26209&start=100

PSLE Chinese according to past MOE statistics which were similar to those in 2009 - 13% scored A*, 69% of students scored A, 11% scored B, 5% scored C. (Info taken from Eduguide magazine 166/08/2010 Volume 4, published by absolutelyparents.com which quoted its source was from MOE)

              Hope the information is useful.

Hi Ms Tay.. Take it easy. One at a time. I'm sure your ds1 will do well in his PSLE and get into his dream school RI. You can then focus more on yr ds2. You have another 2 years to prepare him for PSLE. Jia You. :rahrah:
