I wrote the fan switched off as there is a gap in the circuit and electricity cannot flow.

My ans is : when S2 is closed, W became an electromagnet and attracted Q, opening the circuit and hence the fan is switched off.

Hi, ms tay. Based on my judgement and some online searching, I think the answer should be carbon dioxide as there is less carbon dioxide given out than oxygen. Thus, there would soon be a lack of carbon dioxide. Besides, water could not be used up that quickly.
