According to my ds' tutor
She says that this yr the t- score for science will be lower than last yr
as majority of the cohorts did well .( she is one of the marking teacher ) -
But I think is too early to judge now .. Still hv 2 more days to go

Oh no! That means the PSLE aggregate mark will be pulled down? -

Aggregate down across the board mean COP for all schools will be down across the board too.
Unless you want to compare t scores with previous years which is rather meaningless anyway. -

Is she able to confirm the answers for those questions in dispute ?According to my ds' tutor

Anyway though most here found the paper rather tricky. -
For paper one, markers use marking machines. Markers only need to mark OE paper 2
But my ds canβt recall the questions in paper 2 . -

Agree it is too early to tell. Maybe your tutor was lucky and had been marking scripts from the good classes. We can get a better feel of things if the trend remains the same today, not just in her room but in other marking rooms as well, and in the other group (A or B depending on which group she is in).

Expected most children to be 'slaughtered' unless MOE has decided to be lenient with the marking. Or maybe they read the comments here and decided to 'pang' chance.
