Hi parents out there,
I’m in a dilemma…
Daughter (P1) currently in ICR but sees no improvements and would like to switch her to another school which covers creative writings in preparation for her composition. (Basically she can’t write proper sentences which are creative enough)
She’s been to MA, but we withdrew her because we find that with the money we spent on the course fee, what she’d learnt there is craft works!
Heard and read alot but can’t decide which is the most suitable centre to go that could emphasise on creative writing.
Any comments or recommendations?
Thanks!!! -

My friend's kid is there, she seems satisfied. Not sure about results but she is happy with teachers and teaching methods. -

My K1 has been with LW since beginning of the year. It is under creative english but I don't think I will put her there for P1 onwards. In fact, I was considering Lcentral after I saw their materials. K2 being taught compre and compo. My P3's kindy mate has been with LW for many years and I asked his mum on her feedback. It's also similar to BC. Fun, he enjoys but results so so. -

MMM, you brought up a very good and valid point. All they best to your P3. You still have a lot of time to find out which is the most suitable centre for him/her.
* Meanwhile for national average, I find it subjective too... I think this depends on the student size they have. If the size is not big and most are average to begin with then it will definitely drag down the average.
So it's quite difficult to just look at such data on its own. -

Does LW only have one eng prog- creative eng? Or are there other eng progs at the centre?
