I can’t really say if all the teachers are like that.
For all I know, the other teachers could be more responsible.
And also, I think dd played a part too. She was too young to know better and treated the lessons like play sessions.

RE: All About Learning French
I sent dd to Alliance Francaise for French lessons when she was in P2 for slightly over a year.
In the end, I pulled her out because I felt she wasn't learning much. After the lesson each week, I would ask what she had learnt and her reply was 'Don't know!'
I think she was having too much fun making friends and playing with them in class.
The teacher had quite a laissez-faire attitude; although my girl was not progressing, there was completely no feedback from him. -

Where do you stay?Hi parents out there,
I'm in a dilemma.....
Daughter (P1) currently in ICR but sees no improvements and would like to switch her to another school which covers creative writings in preparation for her composition. (Basically she can't write proper sentences which are creative enough)
She's been to MA, but we withdrew her because we find that with the money we spent on the course fee, what she'd learnt there is craft works!
Heard and read alot but can't decide which is the most suitable centre to go that could emphasise on creative writing.
Any comments or recommendations?
Thanks!!!!!! -

RE: Dim Sum Dollies want you to "Love Your Ride"
I feel amused but not in a charged-up-I-can't-wait-to-take-the-train way. In an embarrassed way 'cos it is so corny. :siao:
