Comparing English Enrichment Programmes

My son has been attending BC for 8 months. He is in K1 and always looking forward to the class every week.


I am quite surprised to know that he has to learn spelling and is required to write sentences in k1. Something that even his kindergarten has not even start yet.

However spelling is done in class. They do not provide a list of spelling list. No stress for parents and kids.

What about popular card? I remembered last time, if you are a popular card member, you can have the registration fee waived too. But that was years ago. Maybe you can check with the registration counter.

Dear parents


DS will be in Primary 1 next year however his english standard is pretty poor. Is there any good enrichment program suitable for K2 to improve his standard? Im really worry he can’t cope with P1.

Phonics is quite essential and serve as a good foundation for reading, spelling, etc. How’s his phonics?

I’m not sure if his phonics is good… sometimes he can make up the right pronounciation… some times he can’t… so i’m not sure… is there any recommendation for english crash course before entering P1??
