What about popular card? I remembered last time, if you are a popular card member, you can have the registration fee waived too. But that was years ago. Maybe you can check with the registration counter.hi,

anyone send kids to MindStretcher (Serangoon North) branch, for P1 Preparatory course ?
how you find it ? is it good ? -
Dear parents
DS will be in Primary 1 next year however his english standard is pretty poor. Is there any good enrichment program suitable for K2 to improve his standard? Im really worry he can’t cope with P1.
Thanks… -
Phonics is quite essential and serve as a good foundation for reading, spelling, etc. How’s his phonics?
-
I’m not sure if his phonics is good… sometimes he can make up the right pronounciation… some times he can’t… so i’m not sure… is there any recommendation for english crash course before entering P1??
-
How about sending him to "I can read"? The centre will do an assessment to know how his English standard before putting him in the right class.

when my dd was in k2, I was also as worry as you..so I decided not to rely on her kindergarden teacher but went to buy good phonics set(with books and CD) to teach my dd every Saturday..and it works!..I am very proud of myself whenever my dd told others tt her phonics is told by me
..
Another important thing to do is to bring her to library weekly..and read to her/him story there..get the kid to love reading books..And once the kid has master her phonics, she will not have problem reading story book herself
